Home grown garlic
*** PREORDERS OPEN NOW***
Hand sown, hand harvested garlic, fresh from our farm in Southwest WA. This garlic is nothing like the shop bought stuff.
Grown with love, mulched with fallen autumn leaves & totally filled with flavour, this garlic is sticky, juicy and so tasty it will knock your socks off!
We use no sprays or pesticides on our garlic, instead favouring organic farming methods to ensure a healthy, delicious crop.
Once picked, the garlic is naturally air dried for a week, then plaited into beautiful bunches, ready to hang up and turn your kitchen into the stuff that rustic-Italian-dreams are made of!
Balinga Garlic Salt
If you love our garlic and want to add another delicious garlicky item to your kitchen this summer, make sure to check out our garlic salt - this is our first year offering the salt online (last year we sold out too fast!). It makes a brilliant ingredient in everything and a lovely Christmas present for the foodies in your life (you could even pair it with a copy of my cookbook, Seasoned).
*** IMPORTANT INFO ON PREORDERING OUR 2024 HARVEST:
We have had a late start to spring this year, and so are predicting a slightly later harvest than usual. Owing to the required drying time (1-2 weeks), braiding and shipping times to get the garlic to your door, we unfortunately cannot guarantee that your garlic will arrive before Christmas. We will do our very best to get it to you as quickly as we ca, and we thank you in advance for your understanding.
Note: If you would like a smaller quantity of garlic you can buy 500g bags of loose bulbs instead. Braids contain about twice as much garlic as the bags - and are BEAUTIFUL - so if you are buying as a gift (or if you’d like a beautiful piece of the Southwest for your own kitchen), we recommend going for a braid. We are only offering 50 braids this year, so stocks are very limited - get in fast if you’d like to secure yours.
Notes on shipping:
If you live in South Australia we will not be able to ship braided garlic to you. If you would like to try our garlic you can purchase bags of loose garlic (500g) or our garlic salt instead.
We cannot post braided garlic or loose garlic bags to Tasmania.
We can ship express to anywhere in Australia apart from Tasmania.
